Art Journaling Night with Amanda Dodson

Come join us for a night of art journaling with artist and therapist Amanda Dodson. This class is specifically designed for helping professionals – therapists, educators, health care workers, and caretakers.

Art journaling is a wonderful self-care technique to incorporate into your personal life and professional work. It provides a low-pressure space to creatively process your life and work. Painting, drawing, collaging, poetry, and writing can all be incorporated into your journal -- and because your journal is personal, you can let go of the end result and just enjoy creating.

You do not need to be an experienced artist to enjoy this low-pressure class! We will cover a range of mediums, techniques, and journaling prompts. Bring your own blank journal, sketch book, or old novel/textbook that you’d like to work in.

Baby Art - Make Mother's Day Gifts!

We are pushing the tables out of the way, laying out paints and paper and letting the little guys have their own time in the Art Project.  This time offers an exploratory, stimulating, and safe environment for you, your baby, and/or toddler to become familiar with basic art materials.  We will use an array of art media to offer sensory play - including non-toxic paints, paper, sand, and water.  This class is great for babies who can sit unassisted.  Also, we suggest that you bring a towel for easier clean up at the end.

Come prepared to get messy!
