What is Art Free Play?
Art Free Play is art-making and creative experimentation and exploration in a non-structured environment. Children have access to all art materials and toys in our space.
How much does Art Free Play cost?
$20 + tax per child or free to members. Adults do not have to pay.
How long is Art Free Play?
Art Free Play is 90 minutes.
What ages?
Any ages! Most successful ages are 18 months to 12 years old.

Do I need to make a reservation? How do I make a reservation?
Reservations are not required but are strongly encouraged. This ensures that our studio doesn’t get too crowded and we have enough materials prepped/ready. Additionally, a reservation guarantees your spot so you don’t arrive and we’re too crowded or have a class/private event happening. Reservations can be made up to a week in advance.

Is there a teacher?
Art Free Play is unstructured and self guided; however, there is staff present to assist in any way. If you’re looking for more structured, guided opportunities, check out our Classes Page!
What can my child do during Art Free Play?
Children have access to any art material or toy they can find. Paint, air dry clay, watercolors, markers, recyclable materials, blocks, glue, glitter, chalk - we have pretty much any art material you can think of!

When is Art Free Play available?
Our current hours are Tuesday- Saturday, 9:00 am- 5:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm. Please visit our weekly schedule page or our online booking page to see available Art Free Play time slots or give us a phone call (901) 425-3434.
Is there a membership for Art Free Play?
Yes! Annual memberships are available. Check out our Membership page for more information and how to sign up for one!
If you frequently come to Art Free Play, a membership is really worth it!
Where do I park?
The best place to park is in the Overton Square parking garage. The garage is free until 6:00 pm. Our studio is right across the street from the garage.
