Join us for a St. Patrick’s Day Art Party! We’ll have lots of St. Patrick’s Day themed crafts happening plus shamrock paper marbling, St. Patrick’s Day themed sensory play and more! Included with Art Free Play & fun for all ages!
In this class, participants will explore the basics of acrylic pour paint and learn all about this relaxing and mesmerizing technique. Pour art is a free-form technique of painting, where paint is poured onto the canvas and swirled around, rather than painted on with a brush. This technique creates beautiful results with very low effort.
Join us for a special SATURDAY “Storytime & Craft!” We’ll be reading the book How To Catch A Leprechaun by Adam Wallace. After the book, kids can use our table full of craft materials to build their on Leprechaun Trap!
We’ll be making SLIME! Kids will get to mix their own batch of St. Patrick’s Day themed slime! We’ll help each child mix the ingredients, add green color, add sparkles, sequins, etc. Slime will be sent home in a container.

Get ready for New Year's Eve with this fun workshop! Students will be led through a festive New Year's Eve painting with acrylic paint on a canvas and make 2024 themed glasses.
Grab a friend, a bottle of wine and come relax and create a nutcracker with us! Each participant will start with a blank wooden nutcracker. They will be able to use paint, fabric, beads, sparkles, decorative items and more to turn their nutcracker into a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All materials are included. Feel free to bring in your own wine and snacks. Beer and seltzers available for sale at the studio!
Come paint a winter penguin on a canvas! Students will use acrylic paints, stencils, and various stamping tools to create this painting on a 12" x 12" canvas. Taught by Terri Scott.

Our SLIME TABLE is coming out during Overton Square’s Oktoberfest event! Kids will be walked through how to mix their own batch of slime, add charms/glitter and then decorate a jar to take the slime home in.
Fun for all ages! Slime making is $10 per child and can be added on to Art Free Play

Local author, illustrator and Art Project studio manager, Terri Scott, has published a new children’s book called Dreaming of Memphis! Join us for her launch party on Sunday, October 22 from 12:00 - 3:00. Terri will do a reading of the book, book signing, crafts, snacks, and more! Event is family friendly!
Students will design & create their own stamps using foam paper & cardboard. They will then stamp their designs on canvas tote bags using ink. Makes a great Halloween tote or trick-or-treat bag!
Come paint a Haunted House on a canvas! Students will learn how to sketch, design and paint a Haunted House using acrylic paint. Kids will also learn about color, composition and painting techniques.
In this class, students will learn how to do linoleum block printing.They will have the opportunity to carve out their own designs using linoleum blocks and specialized tools. They will then have the option to print their designs onto a white tote bag.
Girls and boys will explore lots of different mediums of art with a sweet twist. Kids will paint on canvases, make clay food sculptures, make paper mache food, design their own candy store, use candy as an art material, and enjoy lots of fun sensory play (think cake batter slime)!
